Giovanna Pascarella is a social researcher with a background in bioethics, public health, and community-based research. She holds a BA in Philosophy, International Studies & Economics from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice (2021) and an MSc in Bioethics & Society from King’s College London (2022). Giovanna began her career at a non-profit organisation in North West London, where she collaborated with local communities to deliver qualitative and mixed-methods research on public experiences of health and social care. Her work has contributed to published reports addressing vaccine hesitancy and domestic care provisions, supporting policy discussions at the local level. She is particularly interested in the ethical and social implications of emerging technologies, including the use of AI in clinical and research settings. Her current research focuses on how digital tools intersect with healthcare equity, data governance, and patient autonomy.
