Being NEET means to be deprived of the future.

Young people not studying, not working and not following training courses are classified as NEET, “Not in Education, Employment or Training”. A social condition that gives the measure of to what extent a country is able to guarantee the future to its own young people, based on acceptable work and life conditions.

“Space for Building the Future” S.F.B.F. is a project created under the “Benessere Giovani – Organizziamoci” program, promoted by the Campania Region, leaded by the Cardito municipality, where CyberEthics Lab. is involved together with a local association of young people, a company for the employment, a training center and the National Association VV. FF. on leave.

The project has the objective of sensitising and accompanying young people, aged between 18 and 35 years, belonging to the category of NEET, to corporate culture, their autonomy and the acquisition of experiences and skills useful for promoting their personal growth, active citizenship and knowledge of the territories, giving space to their propensities artistic and creative.

The young people, selected by a special commission, have been involved in two sessions from October to December 2019 in responsible technology, audio-visual and European citizenship laboratories, from January to March 2020 in internships at local companies and training for entrepreneurship and self-employment.

CyberEthics Lab. lead the “Responsible Technology” and the “European citizenship” laboratories for the training of NEETs.

Responsible Research & Innovation
We love discovering and staying on top of new research to continuously advance our knowledge and to transform it into responsible innovation, taking into account effects and potential impacts on ethics, privacy and data protection. We help national and international partners to handle ethical, legal and cybersecurity concerns on both the research process and the project outcomes, through the legal support for the involvement of human beings in the research activity, the analysis of the national and regional legal framework applicable to the implementing technology and the recommendations for the secure and compliant development of technology. We are a multidisciplinary team that promotes the inclusion of legal and ethical concerns in the design of the technology, researching and producing new knowledge and best practices towards making a conscious and transparent adoption of technology.
