The PoSeID-on Blockchain-Based Platform Meets the “Right to Be Forgotten”

A paper co-authored by CyberEthics Lab. describes the legal framework, the method, and the results behind the compliance analysis of the Blockchain-based platform developed in the PoSeID-on Project. In a nutshell: blockchain technology is not an issue per se with respect to intrusiveness on privacy and disrespect of legal obligations; rather, it can be used to create an ecosystem for delivering a significant value to society as a whole.
