Valeria Cesaroni is a researcher and consultant working on the political, social, and ethical dimensions of processes related to digital technologies and artificial intelligence. She holds a degree in Political Philosophy and earned an interdisciplinary PhD in the Humanities, with research focused on the sociotechnical transformations of educational systems, analyzed through Critical Theory and studies on technology governance. Her work centers on the relationship between artificial intelligence, public institutions, and education, with particular attention to the processes of technology integration in organizational contexts and their effects on professional practices, decision-making processes, and forms of participation. She works especially on critical AI literacy pathways and training programs for schools, public bodies, and educational communities, contributing to the development of conceptual and methodological tools for a critical theory of technologies and their social impacts. She has collaborated with universities, research centers, and technology partners, including CINI and Sony Computer Science Laboratories, on interdisciplinary projects focused on the design and development of AI platforms in educational and social contexts. Alongside her academic and consultancy activities, she is active in the third sector as a member and project designer in nonprofit initiatives dedicated to education, public outreach, and civic participation on issues related to AI, digital culture, and the ethics of technology.
